Extraordinary Women, Extraordinary Stories

For Cole Haan’s first female-focused campaign in years, we worked to identify the white space in fashion — all surface- level beauty — to find ways to highlight the substance behind the Cole Haan style. From strategy to execution, we appealed to goal-driven women in authentic and meaningful ways where they least expected a
fashion brand to show up. Through integrated partnerships with non-fashion entities, we bucked the “fashion” in New York Fashion Week and instead focused on cultural conversation.

Digital distribution of the hero brand film, starring Karli Kloss and Christy Turlington, was supported with OOH and media partnership extensions.

Cole Haan wanted to get confident, ambitious, side-hustling, fashionable millennial women and their slightly-older soul sisters who share their mindset to connect with the brand on a cultural, emotional level and become full-price consumers of Fall collections by demonstrating that Extraordinary isn’t superficial. It’s a personal path that is different for everyone. Extraordinary Stories are not defined, they’re experienced in the passion projects women pursue, the pivotal moments they lean into, and the partnerships/sisterhood that propel them.

We created a space for upcoming female podcast leaders and provided tools for aspiring podcast talent.

In partnership with WNYC’s first ever all female podcasting conference, Werk It Festival, Cole Haan became a force within a community ready to have substantial conversations with a brand. In an environment focused on offering extraordinary women a platform they wouldn’t already have access to, Cole Haan enhanced the experience even further with customized podcast cover art and a state of the art private recording studio. Attendees walked away feeling empowered, well connected, and excited by the mission Cole Haan set forward.
